Our booking process has been designed to make it easy for you to easily manage all of your Interpreting needs. All requests for Deaf & Hear Alberta Interpreting Services must be booked by the client (Deaf or hearing) directly and your requests for specific Interpreters will be honoured, provided that the requested Interpreter is available to accept the assignment.
Clients may also choose to schedule future appointments based on the availability of an Interpreter at the time of a current appointment. You can submit your request to us; and if the Interpreter is aware of the intended request their acceptance will be confirmed or the Client and the Interpreter may contact our office together. The Interpreter can interpret the request for the client and the booking will be confirmed.
In order to fulfill the requirements of out contracts with funders, we require all Deaf Clients to have at least one means of communication on file with our office (i.e. Fax, TTY, SMS/Text, Video Phone, Email, Regular Mail, etc.). If you do not have any means of communication, please visit a booking coordinator in person to discuss options.
